​Most of my work is made with textured materials. Silk, tissue, velvet and paper have helped me match a sensation of depth to inspiration; I want it to literally be work that you can ‘feel’. Part of the technique I use incorporates 3D layering to enhance the sense of perspective. The colours I choose in these layers are the key to my mood- now, and sometimes way back then.
